Student Electronic Information System (SIS)
In alignment with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s direction toward digital transformation and the development of administrative and academic systems, the University of Anbar has adopted the Student Information System (SIS) as an integrated electronic system for managing student data and organizing their academic and administrative affairs. The (SIS) is a centralized electronic database used for: Recording students’ personal and academic data. Managing admission and registration processes. Organizing courses and class schedules. Entering grades and calculating GPA. Issuing official reports and statistics. Documenting each student’s academic record. The system contributes to reducing paperwork, enhancing accuracy and transparency, and accelerating administrative procedures within the college. Total number: 789 students Male students: 309 Female students: 480 International students: 4 Arab students: 1 The data indicate a higher percentage of female students compared to male students in the morning study. Total admitted students: 164 students Female students: 103 Male students: 61 International students admitted this year: 6 The statistics show a continued increase in the proportion of female students among newly admitted students. Total number: 168 students Male students: 118 Female students: 50 International students: None Arab students: 1 The data show that the percentage of male students is higher than female students in the evening study, unlike the morning study. With the management of: 789 continuing students (Morning Study) 164 newly admitted students (Morning Study) 168 students in the Evening Study The (SIS) plays a pivotal role in: Organizing and maintaining large volumes of student data with high accuracy. Facilitating registration processes. Monitoring academic performance and automatically calculating GPAs. Generating approved statistical reports. Supporting administrative decision-making within the college. The Student Information System (SIS) represents an advanced step in the digital transformation journey at the University of Anbar. It has effectively contributed to organizing academic and administrative work within the College of Arts and ensuring data accuracy and quick access. The current statistics reflect the significant role the system plays in managing student affairs in both morning and evening studies, thereby enhancing institutional efficiency and keeping pace with modern developments in higher education management. Student registration in the (SIS) follows organized steps to ensure accurate data entry and official approval by the Registration Division at the college, as follows: After completing admission procedures, the student is provided with: A university email address. A system password. These credentials are delivered by the Registration Division to enable access to the system. Access the SIS portal via the HEPIQ application. Enter the university email in the username field. Enter the password. Click on (Login). Upon first login, the student is required to: Verify the accuracy of personal information (name, date of birth, examination number, department, academic stage). Update the phone number or any missing information, if applicable. Save the changes after confirming their accuracy.Student Information System (SIS)
