Scientific Affairs Division
The Scientific Affairs Division is considered one of the most essential administrative units in the College. It is responsible for organizing and managing academic, scientific, and research activities in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University Presidency. The division works to support the scientific environment and enhance academic quality by monitoring published research, supervising scientific activities, and ensuring compliance with quality assurance and accreditation standards. The division also plays a central role in coordinating between the academic departments and the University Presidency, providing the necessary scientific data for decision-making, and following up on programs and plans related to improving the College’s academic performance indicators. The division undertakes a wide range of responsibilities, most notably: Monitoring scientific activities within the departments, including seminars, workshops, conferences, panel discussions, and research events. Following up on published scientific research inside and outside the College and maintaining a dedicated database for departmental research activities. Supervising the preparation and implementation of annual research plans and coordinating them between the departments and higher administrative bodies. Ensuring the application of quality assurance and academic accreditation standards related to scientific and research performance. Managing official correspondence and administrative orders related to scientific affairs in coordination with the University. Preparing annual and periodic scientific reports to be submitted to the relevant authorities. Following up on postgraduate students’ research projects in coordination with the Postgraduate Studies Division and academic departments.Scientific Affairs Division
