Student Activities Division

The Student Activities Division is one of the essential divisions that contributes to shaping the personality of university students, enhancing their skills, and fostering creativity and teamwork. The division plays a fundamental role in implementing extracurricular programs and activities that enrich campus life and provide a balanced environment combining academic, social, and personal development, in line with the university’s mission to prepare well-rounded students both academically and culturally.
The division consists of several specialized units that work in harmony to offer a diverse range of activities covering sports, scouting, arts, culture, and volunteer work.

Sports Activities Unit

This unit is responsible for organizing sports activities within the college by holding tournaments and competitions in various individual and team sports. It also prepares sports teams to represent the college in events organized by the university, ministries, or other athletic bodies. The unit aims to enhance physical fitness, instill the values of fair play, and develop students’ skills in different sports while providing a supportive training environment and adequate sports facilities.

Scouting Activities Unit

The Scouting Unit focuses on fostering discipline, responsibility, and teamwork among students through specialized scouting programs, including training courses, scouting camps, and participation in university- or governorate-level gatherings. The unit emphasizes cooperation, leadership, first aid skills, volunteerism, and maintaining order during major events.

Artistic Activities Unit

This unit supports students’ artistic talents in areas such as drawing, music, theater, design, and handicrafts. It organizes art exhibitions, theatrical performances, musical events, and training workshops aimed at nurturing creativity. The unit contributes to presenting a refined cultural image of the college by participating in artistic festivals at the university and community levels.

Cultural Activities Unit

The Cultural Unit works to enrich students’ intellectual and literary knowledge by organizing seminars, lectures, competitions, and cultural programs, including Qur’an recitation contests, poetry readings, debates, and cultural weeks. Its activities help strengthen students’ cultural awareness, develop their communication and dialogue skills, and encourage meaningful participation in academic and cultural discourse.

Volunteer Work Unit

This unit plays a key role in promoting values of service and social responsibility. It oversees volunteer initiatives within and outside the college, such as tree-planting campaigns, campus-cleaning projects, community support events, and humanitarian or service-oriented activities. The unit aims to cultivate the spirit of initiative and belonging among students while developing their leadership and teamwork abilities.
