Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division
The Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division is one of the essential pillars of the college’s institutional structure. It plays a strategic role in enhancing the efficiency of academic and administrative work and ensuring compliance with the quality standards issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as national and international accreditation bodies. The division works to build an integrated system of procedures and mechanisms aimed at improving institutional performance, elevating the quality of academic programs, and fostering an enhanced environment for teaching, learning, and scientific research in alignment with the college’s vision, mission, and long-term goals. The division oversees the implementation of quality plans, evaluates the activities of academic and administrative departments, ensures the application of accreditation standards, and prepares annual and analytical reports that diagnose strengths and identify opportunities for improvement. Its work is collaborative and data-driven, relying on the collection and analysis of information to support decision-making and maintain institutional transparency and effectiveness. The Quality Assurance Unit is responsible for developing and implementing plans and procedures that ensure the college’s practices align with academic and institutional quality standards. Its main tasks include developing internal quality manuals and regulations, monitoring their implementation across departments, and assessing the quality of educational programs and curricula. It also measures the satisfaction of students, faculty, and stakeholders, promotes a culture of quality through workshops and training sessions, and raises awareness of the importance of continuous improvement. The unit also follows up on internal auditing processes and prepares periodic reports submitted to the division to evaluate overall performance and outline pathways for development. The Performance Evaluation Unit is responsible for assessing academic and administrative performance based on clear indicators and nationally approved standards. Its mission includes evaluating faculty performance, monitoring scientific achievements, analyzing research output, and documenting annual academic activities. The unit prepares evaluation forms, organizes electronic assessment processes, collects and statistically analyzes data, and issues reports that support evidence-based decision-making. It serves as a key mechanism for identifying progress, diagnosing weaknesses, and ensuring that improvement plans are grounded in accurate and reliable data. The Accreditation Unit serves as the specialized branch responsible for following up on national and international accreditation requirements for academic programs. The unit works to align departmental learning outcomes with accreditation standards, prepare program files, and apply performance indicators for each standard. It also coordinates with ministerial and university committees during evaluation visits. In addition, the unit ensures continued compliance with accreditation standards after achieving them through periodic reviews and continuous updates to programs and documentation. This unit strengthens the college’s academic reputation and improves its competitiveness at both local and international levels.Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division
