Information Technologies Division
The Information Technology Division is one of the vital divisions in the College of Arts – University of Anbar, as it is responsible for developing and managing the digital infrastructure and electronic systems that support both academic and administrative processes. The division works to provide an integrated technological environment that facilitates work within the college and supports digital transformation across all administrative units by managing hardware, software, networks, and websites. It also ensures the continuity of electronic systems and provides technical support to all departments and units, thereby enhancing performance efficiency and keeping pace with modern technological developments. This unit is responsible for maintaining computer devices within the college, diagnosing and repairing technical faults on a regular basis. It also installs essential software, updates systems, and ensures the readiness of computers in laboratories and administrative offices. The unit contributes to reducing technical issues and improving the efficiency of device usage. This unit manages the college’s internet network and ensures its stability and speed. Its duties include setting up internal networks, monitoring internet performance, and resolving connectivity issues. It also secures the network against failures and cyber threats and works to connect departments and units within an integrated network system. This unit is responsible for managing the official website of the college and continuously updating its content. Its tasks include publishing news, academic and administrative activities, uploading official announcements, and organizing website pages to reflect the college’s academic work.
