Media and Government Communication Division

The Media and Government Communication Division is one of the vital divisions within the college, playing a central role in highlighting its activities, documenting its achievements, and strengthening its presence within the academic and social environment. The division serves as the official communication link between the college and its various audiences, including students, faculty members, government institutions, and media organizations. It operates according to clear and coordinated communication policies aligned with the directives of the University Presidency and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The division consists of two main units that work in functional integration: the Media Unit and the Public Relations Unit, each carrying specific responsibilities that contribute to enhancing the college’s institutional image and supporting both internal and external communication.

Media Unit

The Media Unit is responsible for producing the college’s media content and documenting all scientific, cultural, student, and research activities held within the college. Its tasks include preparing news and media reports, photographing events, and producing photographic and audiovisual materials. It also manages the college’s social media platforms and official website to ensure accurate and timely communication that professionally reflects the institution’s identity.
Additionally, the unit monitors what is published about the college in various media outlets and coordinates with press agencies to cover conferences, seminars, and academic events. It also archives all media materials and stores them in organized databases for future reference.

Public Relations Unit

The Public Relations Unit focuses on building and strengthening the college’s network of communication with external entities, including governmental, academic, and community institutions. Its duties include managing protocol during graduation ceremonies, conferences, and official celebrations, receiving visiting delegations, and coordinating meetings and visits between academic departments and partner institutions.
The unit also contributes to enhancing the college’s public image by planning community-oriented activities, participating in university initiatives, organizing awareness campaigns, and fostering effective internal communication among faculty and staff through professional and social events that promote a positive working environment.
