Postgraduate Studies Affairs Division

The Postgraduate Studies Affairs Division is one of the key administrative units in the College, overseeing all procedures related to postgraduate programs (Higher Diploma, Master’s, and PhD) from the application and admission stages up to the issuance of the official university graduation orders. The division operates in accordance with ministerial and university regulations, ensuring the efficient and transparent management of academic and administrative processes.

The division consists of two main units that work in an integrated manner to support postgraduate students throughout their academic journey:

1. Admission and Registration Unit

This unit manages all procedures related to receiving applications for postgraduate studies, organizing and verifying student records, and ensuring compliance with admission requirements. Its tasks include:

• Overseeing electronic and paper-based application procedures.

• Verifying applicant forms and confirming their fulfillment of ministerial requirements.

• Issuing preliminary and final admission letters.

• Following up on students’ academic status during their study period.

• Processing requests for postponement, extensions, transfers, and comprehensive exams.

• Updating academic records and documenting grades.

This unit represents the initial gateway through which postgraduate students begin their academic path within the College.

2. Documents and University Orders Unit

This unit is responsible for issuing all official documents and orders related to postgraduate students and graduates. Its tasks include:

• Preparing graduation documents in both Arabic and English.

• Organizing graduation files and completing all required administrative procedures.

• Issuing university orders related to admission, academic titles, and graduation.

• Providing students and graduates with official letters addressed to institutions inside and outside Iraq.

• Archiving documents and records to ensure easy future access.

This unit ensures the accuracy and integrity of the official documents issued by the College for its postgraduate students and graduates.
