Studies and Planning Division

The Studies and Planning Division is one of the key administrative units in the College, playing a vital role in supporting decision-making processes through the provision of accurate statistical data, the preparation of analytical studies, and the development of strategic and academic plans. The division operates with modern administrative and technical methods to enhance institutional performance and elevate the academic and administrative standards of the College.

The division consists of three main units that work collaboratively to achieve strategic planning objectives and continuous institutional improvement:


1. Statistics and Informatics Unit

This unit is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing statistical data that support the College’s leadership in making informed and effective decisions. Its duties include:

  • Preparing annual and periodic statistics related to students, staff, and academic departments.

  • Updating and maintaining the College’s informational databases.

  • Providing statistical reports that support academic planning and resource allocation.

  • Monitoring quality indicators and institutional performance metrics.

  • Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data for official and research purposes.

This unit serves as the primary source of information used in shaping the College’s future plans.


2. Academic Systems Unit

This unit oversees the implementation and monitoring of academic systems adopted within the College, ensuring alignment with the regulations of the Ministry and the University. Its responsibilities include:

  • Following up on the application of the academic system (semester-based, annual, or credit system).

  • Documenting academic plans for the departments and updating them when necessary.

  • Coordinating with academic departments to ensure coherence and compliance with academic standards.

  • Preparing analytical reports on academic systems and evaluating their effectiveness.

  • Providing administrative and technical support for curriculum and program development.

This unit contributes significantly to maintaining the smooth operation of the educational process and achieving academic accreditation standards.


3. Strategies and Planning Unit

This unit specializes in developing the College’s strategic and annual plans and monitoring their implementation to ensure the achievement of long-term institutional goals. Its tasks include:

  • Preparing the College’s strategic and annual development plans.

  • Analyzing the academic and administrative environment to identify strengths and weaknesses.

  • Designing internal development programs to enhance performance quality.

  • Monitoring the execution of plans and measuring progress indicators.

  • Preparing analytical reports that support institutional development.

  • Contributing to shaping future visions for academic and research advancement.

This unit forms the foundation upon which the College builds its policies and long-term development strategies.
