Human Resources Division at the College of Arts

The Human Resources Division is one of the most essential administrative units supporting the work of the College of Arts – University of Anbar. It is responsible for organizing all functional matters related to the academic and administrative staff within the college and for providing a professional work environment based on efficiency and administrative discipline. The division plays a central role in monitoring employment services, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate official records and data in accordance with the directives of the University of Anbar and the Ministry of Higher Education.

The division works to plan, organize, and manage human resources in a way that ensures smooth administrative operations and enhances overall performance, operating through a set of specialized units that cover all employment and administrative aspects.


1. Citizens and Faculty Affairs Unit

This unit serves as the division’s primary interface for handling requests submitted by citizens and faculty members. It receives inquiries, processes administrative requests, issues official letters and endorsements, and coordinates with other administrative units to ensure timely completion of procedures. The unit aims to strengthen communication between the college and its beneficiaries.


2. Employment Unit

This unit manages all procedures related to the hiring of new employees. Its tasks include verifying documents, receiving job applications, preparing candidate files, and completing appointment procedures in accordance with university and ministerial regulations. The unit also follows up on staffing movements, promotions, changes in job titles, and updates employees’ administrative status to ensure the accuracy of their records.


3. Files and Data Unit

This unit is responsible for maintaining and organizing official personnel files for faculty and staff, documenting their service history, and reviewing administrative decisions related to promotions, allowances, and leave. It also updates information in the approved electronic system to ensure that accurate and up-to-date data is available to support administrative decision-making.


4. Retirement Unit

This unit handles all matters related to the retirement rights of faculty and staff. It documents years of service, prepares retirement files, and completes the necessary procedures in accordance with applicable regulations. The unit also provides guidance to employees regarding their rights and the steps required when they approach retirement.
