Financial Affairs Division

The Financial Affairs Division is one of the most important administrative divisions in the college, entrusted with managing financial resources and ensuring their proper utilization in accordance with the regulations and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University Presidency. The division serves as a fundamental pillar in organizing financial operations related to expenditures, budget preparation, and the monitoring of accounting records, in addition to overseeing financial procedures for staff salaries and the financial entitlements of projects and various activities within the college.

The division is responsible for preparing annual financial plans, managing spending in line with allocations, documenting accounting entries, and ensuring accuracy and transparency in all transactions. It also handles internal auditing and coordinates with university oversight bodies to enhance financial performance and safeguard public funds.

The division includes several specialized units, most notably the Stores Management Unit, which plays an essential role in supporting both administrative and financial operations.

Stores Management Unit

The Stores Management Unit is responsible for organizing and documenting all processes related to receiving, storing, and issuing materials and supplies belonging to the college. Its duties include managing inventory through accurate records, receiving delivered items after verifying their compliance with specifications and invoices, and conducting periodic and annual stocktaking to ensure the integrity and actual condition of stored items.

The unit also provides departments and divisions with the materials and supplies they require based on official requests, in accordance with approved regulations, ensuring proper distribution and sustainability of resources. It works closely with the Financial Affairs Division to reconcile expenditure records and inventory logs, ensuring consistency between stock movements and accounting records.

Additionally, the unit strengthens control over stored materials by applying modern systems for tracking and preservation, maintaining the safety of items in storage, and documenting all movements with clarity and transparency to prevent loss or misuse of inventory.
